Resolve Saving Issues for Bookings or Products

Fix issues where bookings, products, or hotkeys do not save and Gamma shows a blank save error.

This article explains how to identify whether a till is in standalone mode and how to return it to networked mode so you can save bookings, products, or hotkeys correctly.

This issue usually appears when you save a booking or edit product details and either no changes are saved or the system shows this message:

  1. Open the EPOS module.

  2. Check the current till status.

  3. If the status shows Networked, try to save the product, booking, or hotkey again.

  4. If the status still shows Networked and the item still does not save, contact Support.

  5. If the status shows Standalone, click Force Online to return the till to networked mode.

  6. Attempt to save the product, booking, or hotkey details again.


Why This Happens

If a till is in Standalone mode, the back office modules cannot save changes correctly. Opening EPOS and selecting Force Online returns the till to Networked mode, which usually resolves the issue.

⚠️Important: Back office modules cannot operate correctly while a till is in standalone mode.
