Any Gamma module that can run reports will need to have Crystal Reports installed otherwise you will receive errors.
If you ever receive an error that contains ‘Crystal Report Decision Error’ or you are unable to view your invoices correctly then there’s a good chance either Crystal Reports isn’t installed or the incorrect version is installed.
📌Note: When getting Crystal Reports installed, you will need to get your IT involved as you may need administrator privileges in order to install it.
Locate the files
Typically the file path for these files will be stored on your server in the GammaClientAccess\XTInstallation\CrystalReports_Version11 folder, however this is site specific and the file path may appear different. It is also worth checking your C:\Gamma\LeisurePOS folder as the install files for Crystal Reports may also be held here.
For 32 bit OS:
Install the 32bit version of Crystal Reports 13.0.12.
For 64 bit OS:
Install the 32bit version AND 64bit version of Crystal Reports 13.0.12.
If you are still experiencing issues after this then make sure that the bit rate of Gamma matches your Crystal Report version. By default installation of Gamma will use 32bit, if you flag the till for an update via the Stock Module this will force it to 64bit.
📌Note: Gamma does not support past version 13.0.12.
