Troubleshoot Missing Booking Confirmation Emails

What to check when customers are not receiving booking confirmation emails.

This article explains the initial checks to complete when a customer does not receive a booking confirmation email after making a booking through your hosted site.

Troubleshoot Missing Booking Confirmation Emails

  1. Check whether the customer has received the email in their Junk or Spam folder.

  2. Confirm that the customer completed the booking successfully.

  3. Check the booking in Gamma to make sure it appears in the system.

  4. Check whether your bookings office email address, which is BCC'd into all confirmation emails, has received a copy of the confirmation email.

If the booking is visible in Gamma and neither the customer nor the bookings office email address has received the confirmation email, raise a new case and quote the title of this article.


Raise a Case for Further Investigation

  1. Raise a new support case.

  2. Quote the title of this article in the case details.

  3. Include confirmation that you have checked the customer's Junk or Spam folder, confirmed the booking exists in Gamma, and checked the bookings office email account.
