Licence error: renewal needs updated

This article explains when is the case to request a renewal of your licence and how you can register it on different modules.

When to request a new licence

There may be instances when the system will announce you that you need to renew your license.

You will see one of the below messages:

  • Licence error on screen 'please renew licence in 6 days before expiry'.

  • Please renew licence for Gamma software.

Once you got one of the messages above, please raise a new case and reference the title of this article.

Once you will receive the license from the Gamma team, you will need to register the license in the system.


Register licence

Once you have received the licence from the Gamma team, you will need to register it, depending on the module, by following the below instructions:

For Stock/Bookings/Mail Order/Membership

  1. Open the necessary module.

  2. Click Help, then click About.

  3. Click Licence Management.

  4. Fill out the licence in the field, then click Register.

For EPOS

  1. Open EPOS.

  2. In the top right of EPOS, click the Access Gamma Logo.

  3. Click Licence Management.

  4. Fill out the licence in the field, then click Register.
